Hi and welcome!

I’m so happy you have found your way here. My name is Bek and I am a nationally registered acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. I completed my studies in Melbourne at the Southern School of Natural Therapies, earning a Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine).

Through personal experience of receiving treatments, and from observing other practitioners, I found my nature aligned with the gentler styles of treatment, and upon completing my formal studies, I pursued a postgraduate certificate in Toyohari East Asian Needle Therapy through the Australasian branch of the Toyohari Association. Additionally, I have completed extensive training in Master Tung acupuncture, a style renowned for its minimal needling and powerful effects in addressing pain conditions.

I have a particular passion for supporting women and individuals assigned female at birth (AFAB) through the unique challenges they face at every stage of life.

Whether you’re looking to optimise your fertility, or dealing with period problems, chronic pelvic pain, PMDD, or navigating the transition through peri/menopause, I’m here to help. With additional training in managing complex women’s health conditions, I focus on finding and addressing the root cause of your symptoms to get the best possible outcomes.

While I have a focus on women’s health, my practice also extends to supporting general health concerns. From anxiety and stress to musculoskeletal issues, digestive complaints, and acute conditions such as colds or flu, I’m here to help you feel your best in body and mind.

I was drawn to Chinese Medicine and acupuncture through my love of nature and a deep curiosity about natural therapies and herbal medicine.

With a background in set and costume design, and a foundation in the creative world, I was inspired by the poetic philosophy of Chinese Medicine that views the body as a microcosm of the natural world, reflecting the belief that we are deeply connected to our environment.

Having spent 15 years in Melbourne, I made the decision to move to Margaret River to be closer to family and nature. When I’m not in the clinic, you will find me down at the beach, deep in the forest, at my pottery wheel or pottering around the garden.
